Drake Donates $1 Million To I PROMISE School Founded By LeBron James

One thing about Drake, he can be generous with his coins! But beyond generous, the artist is also considerate of who benefits from his donated funds.

You may recall his 2018 ‘God’s Plan’ music video, which showed Drake gifting his million-dollar budget to families, individuals and institutions in need. Well, he recently dropped another million dollars on charitable matters. Apparently, the Canadian rapper plans to cut the hefty check to LeBron James’ I PROMISE school.

If you weren’t aware, the NBA star opened his own school in his hometown Akron, Ohio in 2018. The school primarily serves students who “are already falling behind and in danger of falling through the cracks.” LeBron is listed as the vice principal on the school’s site.

News of Drake’s donation first appeared on the rapper’s verified Instagram account.
