Arsenal have decided against pursuing the services of Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, according to Football Insider.
The England international had a top campaign for the Toffees last term, bagging 21 goals across all competitions.
However, he has struggled to replicate the showing this season. He has bagged just three goals from 11 appearances so far.
The 25-year-old missed most of the first half of the campaign after suffering a fractured toe before the September internationals.
Since his comeback in January, he has been inconsistent up front while also missing games in between with minor niggles.
According to Football Insider, the Gunners are no longer interested in the Toffees ace amid his ongoing injury troubles.
They are now prepared to look elsewhere, and could pursue someone from a foreign league to bolster their strikeforce.
Jonathan David, Darwin Nunez, Lautaro Martinez and Victor Osimhen are among players under the Gunners’ radar.
Among the quartet, the Gunners are particularly keen on Martinez, and have already made contact with his entourage.
